Sergeant Alquist has been serving the City of Powell since 2019, and was promoted to Sergeant in 2021.

Prior to joining the Police Department, Sergeant Alquist served in the United States Army Airborne Infantry. He also served for two years as a Police Officer at the Greybull, Wyoming Police Department.

Sergeant Alquist is a firearms instructor for the department.
