The Powell Police Department offers the following services in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center

 

1.  Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N) checks-needed for vehicle registration and other purposes.  Cost  is $5.00

2.  Fingerprinting- Cost is $5.00 total

3.  Background checks-Cost is $2.00 total

4.  Notary Services-Cost is $2.00 total

5.  Police reports-Cost is $.15 per B/W page

6.  Motor Vehicle Crash reports Cost $.15 per B/W page

7.  Vacation House Checks-No cost

8.  Bicycle registration-cost is free Download

9.  Dog Licenses-Cost is $2.00 for a spayed/neuter dog and $10.00 for a non spayed/neuter dog

10.  Council of Community Services-application must be completed before funds awarded

11. The Powell Police Department is concerned about the safety of at risk mental/Alzheimer/dementia patients    who live in and around Powell.  This is a voluntary program that has been designed to aid in the safe return of a person who has wandered away.  The Police Department will use this information only in the event of a law enforcement/search and rescue emergency.
